Tania and Good Mojo (Mojo)
Mojo is a 2003 Paint/QH gelding. Tania purchased Mojo locally after she retired her horse Dan. Mojo is progressing well with his dressage training. Tania is looking forward to joining Team Encore at shows during the 2009 season - look for the spotted horse and his smiling "Mom". |

Diana and Titan (Fred)
Fred is a 1996 16.1 Dutch Warmblood gelding. Diana appreciated Susie’s support in helping her with Fred when others did not believe in him. Diana was able to earn her first and second level scores toward her bronze medal and was schooling 3rd level before an injury sidelined the team. Diana and Fred won the NCDCTA Horse of the Year at first level in 2006. Diana is a successful professional trainer based in Southern Pines. |

Tanya and Winter Spirit (Fidget)
Fidget is a 1993 16.2 Hanoverian gelding by Warkant. Tanya purchased Fidget locally from a trainer who was successful with him through PSG. Tanya is looking forward to having her new partner help teach her as she moves up the levels. Tanya spearheads Team Encore participation in PVDA Ride for Life Dressage Show in MD. Carol and Brocken
Brocken is a 2001 16.2 elite Hannoverian mare candidate by Batido. Brocken has had a successful show career through 4th level. Her 2007 accomplishments include: Region 3 Champion, 2nd Level Freestyle; Region 3 Reserve Champion 3rd Level Open; Finalist in the Markel Young Horse Championship in Lexington, KY. Carol saw Brocken at the Raleigh CDI and purchased her soon afterwards. Carol is having a great time getting to know her new partner! Carol began riding as an adult and is a certified equine massage therapist and owner of Pressure Points ( pressurepoints@bellsouth.net). |

Nancy and Curtain Call (Curt)
Curt is a 2001 17.3 Trakehner/TB gelding by Salute the Truth. Linda Zang found Curt in Maryland. After a prolonged absence from the saddle, Nancy is looking forward to showing at training and 1st level this season. In addition, she is excited about following Susie’s training of Curt as he moves up the levels. Nancy continues to spend time whenever she can with her retired FEI horse Landmark. Landmark is happily spending his days at Mary’s farm. Nancy is a board-certified veterinary radiologist and is married to Robert. |

Meredith and Double Down (Dublin)
Dublin is a 1997 17.2 Swedish Warmblood gelding by Amorex. Meredith purchased Dublin through Susie in 2002. When purchased, Dublin was green broke, and they are now schooling at 2nd level. Meredith was extremely successful in the Arabian Show world before switching to dressage as an adult. |

Linda and Orion
Orion is a 1993 17.2 hand Percheron/TB gelding bred by Linda. Under Susie's guidance, they have 13 first place awards to their credit. Linda and Orion had a successful 3rd level debut and continue to further refine their work at 3rd level. Linda and Orion are working on their final score towards a USDF Bronze medal. Carolyn and Donnersturm (Domino)
Donnersturm is a 1995 Oldenburg gelding by the famous German stallion, Donnerhall. Domino competed successfully through First Level and was third in the NCDCTA First Level Horse of the Year Awards in 2003. Unfortunately Domino was retired in 2005. Carolyn has ridden all her life and owned several horses. After a forced absence from riding in 2007, Carolyn is looking to get back in the saddle in 2008! |

Lisa and West Point (Wesley)
Wesley is a 16.2 2001 Thoroughbred gelding with bloodlines that trace to Native Dancer and Northern Dancer. Lisa purchased Wesley through Susie in 2005. He showed great promise at his first schooling show where he scored two 68’s at Training Level! Lisa has ridden ever since her Dad put her on a horse at two. She rode western pleasure and barrel racing until her early teens when she began riding hunters and jumpers. She showed “A” and “C” hunter circuit for nearly 10 years and has been a trainer for beginner riders. She began riding with Susie in 2003 at the encouragement of her best friend Pam, and loves learning the intricacies of Dressage. |

Robert and Naroby
Naroby is a 1995 Dutch Warmblood gelding by Gabor. Naroby started his career as a driving horse and has made a successful transition to dressage. Susie helped Robert purchase Naroby in 2004. Susie and Naroby were 7th at the Region 1 GAIG Championships at 1st level in 2005. Robert received the high score Adult Amateur Award at Training Level (69.23) at the Captial Classic in 2006 with Naroby. This was only their second recognized show! Robert is a board-certified veterinary pathologist and is married to Nancy. Robert began riding as an adult and 2005 was his first year riding dressage. |

Mary and Chivas
Chivas is a 1995 15.3 Swedish Warmblood gelding. Mary has been working with Susie since 1988. Susie trained Mary and her previous horse Merlin from 1st level through I-1. Merlin won many NCDCTA, USDF, and USEF awards during that time. Chivas was an open jumper before starting his dressage career. Chivas was the NCDCTA HOY at 1st Level and Reserve at 2nd Level in 2004. Mary and Chivas were also 2004 1st Level USDF Vintage Cup Champions. Currently Chivas is showing 3rd level and schooling 4th level. Mary is a Professor of Immunology at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. Mary has ridden all of her life, starting out riding foxhunters as a child in Illinois. |

Mary and Leander (LiLi)
Leander is a 1993 17.2 Dutch Warmblood gelding. Leander started his career as a successful jumper in Europe before making the transition to dressage. Leander is trained to I-1 and is currently showing 4th level. Mary is looking forward to dusting off her shadbelly and riding down centerline with her kind new partner. |

Sally and Flash
Flash is a 2000 16.2 Hanoverian gelding by Wummerstern. Sally purchased Flash from Lynn, another Team Encore member. Sally and Flash have proven to be a successful match, receiving scores in the high 60’s (and a 70 or two) as well as consistently placing in their classes. Sally plans on moving up the levels during 2010. |

Sally and Scooterriffic (Spot)
Spot is a 1988 15.3 Quarter Horse gelding. You name it, Spot and Sally have done it – western pleasure, trail, dressage and now eventing. Spot won many national awards in both western pleasure and dressage. Sally is an equine veterinarian and owner of Triangle Equine Veterinary Services. |

Pam and Donatella
Donatella is a 2002 Oldenburg mare by Freestyle. Donatella was bred by Sally Vivrette, another member of Team Encore. Pam retired her partner Dreamy in 2007 and was happy to find such a sweet, pretty mare to continue her training. Pam is very excited about her new horse and they are bonding well. |
